Mentioned ahead are recipes of seven DIY healthy drinks that can help keep your waist slim and trim:

#1. Lemon-ginger drink

It only takes a few ingredients to set you on a healthy path.  Warm water is essential because it helps the digestion process. You’re enabling your digestive system off to a great start if you drink it first thing in the morning. And adding in lemons, which are rich in vitamins and function as a digestive and liver cleanser, can aid you further in the weight loss process. Add in ginger and you’ve got a head start to increase your metabolic rate and have a natural detoxifier at your disposal.

·         1 cup of warm water

·         Freshly squeezed juice of half a lemon

·         1 knob of ginger, grated

Combine all the ingredients, but make sure that the water is warm and not boiling hot.

#2. Grapefruit and rosemary drink

This combination of nutrients is great for your health. We all know that everything fresh is the way to go.  And freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice contains vitamin C that also aids in detoxifying the body and lowering the bad cholesterol. On the other hand, rosemary improves your blood circulation and digestion.

·         1 cup of water

·         Freshly-squeezed juice of 1/2 grapefruit

·         1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary needles

·         1 tablespoon honey

Boil water with chopped fresh rosemary needles and honey; it would be even better if you could place in a tea infuser before boiling. Reduce the heat and let simmer for five minutes. After removing the rosemary needles, allow the liquid to cool a little. Lastly, combine the infused rosemary water with the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

#3. Cucumber-ginger drink

Ginger is an ancient ingredient that is great for easing gastrointestinal problems, boosts the immune system, and acts as a wonderful anti-inflammatory agent.  Cucumbers also have anti-inflammatory compounds, are great antioxidants, and have anti-cancer benefits.

·         1 cup of water

·         1 (1-inch) knob of peeled ginger

·         1 teaspoon honey

·         A few slices of cucumber

Boil water with ginger for five minutes.  Once boiled, you can remove the ginger if you like and add the honey, and let it cool. After it has cooled you can add the cucumber slices.

#4. Blueberry-carrot smoothie

A great way to start your day is with a healthy breakfast, and the best way to do that is have something that contains all the vitamins and minerals that our body requires.  Fresh fruit and vegetables, combined with non-fat milk or yogurt is the way to go.

·         1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Add honey to enhance the taste. Blend until everything is combined well.

#5. Green tea with ginger

With our strenuous lifestyles, it’s important that we take out time to reap green tea or milk thistle tea benefits. We all know green tea is amazing! It is filled with rich nutrients that lower the risk of cancer, aids in cutting the fat from the food we consume, and helps our brain become more active. It can even help ease your left side pain in the abdomen. Now combine that with the heroic detox benefits of ginger, and you’ve got at your disposal a wonder woman drink!

Apple cider vinegar is the focal ingredient, which helps treat problematic acne, and also aids in keeping people fuller for longer periods of time. It is a great home remedy for bloating. Cinnamon helps increase the metabolic rate, decrease food cravings, burn excess sugar, and takes preventive measures for fat storage.  As discussed earlier, lemon juice is packed with vitamin C and so many other things.  Apples are packed with rich fiber.

·         1.5 cups of water

·         1-2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

·         1 tablespoon fresh Lemon Juice

·         1 teaspoon Cinnamon
