From the look of things, it looks as if SEO has been overshadowed by other marketing strategies. In fact, it’s not easy to tell when a business is using SEO to increase its visibility on the internet. However, SEO still rocks and it’s here to stay.

SEO increases conversions like no any other method. This is because it targets the people that need the services or products that are offered by your business. This is contrary to what people see in paid ads and social media campaigns. Picture this, people see ads all the time but they rarely click on them due to the fact that they appear in our space even when we are not interested in them. Paid ads actually rely on browsing history to determine what ads each person will see as they browse the internet.

By the time someone has entered a certain keyword in the search engine, it’s obvious that they are serious about what they are looking for. This explains why SEO continues to generate traffic in the long term. If your content is informative and of top notch quality, it will continue to earn you visitors for years to come.

If SEO was dead, there would be low competition for keywords. In fact, competition for these keywords is always on the rise. This is because businesses understand the power of being found through organic searches. Everyone agrees that SEO is the most cost effective marketing method.

For start, it’s a strategy that you can implement on your own. As long as you have the time and knowledge in keyword research, you can always find the phrases that have low competition. However, most business owners hire SEO experts because they have too much in their plate. The other challenge is that majority of them don’t know how to use keyword tools to narrow down to phrases that are dominant in their various niches.
