About the New Ciaz: An Overview

In August 2018, NEXA introduced the new model of Ciaz with significant cosmetic updates and a host of new features. The new Ciaz not only sports new styling but also includes some additional tech. In the very first month, the new Ciaz went on to receive a notable amount of bookings that foreshadowed its success thereafter.

Exteriors

One of the first things that you notice in the new Ciaz is its new black-meshed, wider front grille flanked by chrome at the top and bottom. In addition to this, the car also features redesigned headlamps which are accompanied with LED daytime running lamps and a revised bumper, bigger intakes, and new enclosures with LED fog lamps.

At the rear end of the car, you can find new LED combination tail lamps and a slightly tweaked bumper. The new Ciaz is available in seven interesting colors.

Interiors

On the inside, the new Ciaz has received changes along the lines of feature updates. For a richer look, NEXA has added birch blonde wood grain inserts with a low gloss finish to it. As far as the features are concerned, the new Ciaz now flaunts a new 4.2 inch colored MID unit.

Engine and Transmission

Among the most prominent changes made to the car are its engines. The new Ciaz is now equipped with three engine options that include a K15 Smart Hybrid petrol engine, the new DDiS 225 diesel engine, and the DDiS 200 Smart Hybrid engine. The new Ciaz comes offers both manual and automatic transmission options in its petrol variants, and manual transmissions for its diesel engines and their respective variants.

Safety and Comfort

The new Ciaz is well-equipped on the safety front, and comes with features like ABS with EBD, dual airbags, seat-belt reminder, reverse parking sensors, and anti-theft security system.
